Concert Series

We are pleased to announce the 2012 Six String Social Club Concert Series. We plan to present eight concerts this year beginning March 24 and ending in October. Our goal is to continue bringing some of the best international touring guitarists to North Fulton County. We set our standards high and book the best internationally touring guitarists who will appeal to not only the guitar enthusiast, but also to anyone looking for an evening of quality entertainment. So far, we have two concerts confirmed: Ed Gerhard on Saturday, March 24, 2012, and Frank Vignola on Friday, May 4, 2012. We also have tentative dates set with Laurence Juber (April 21, 2012) and Beppe Gambetta (June 16th or June 24th). We have also started talks with English guitarist Adrian Legg for July 7th or 8th. We will be filling out the remaining dates in August, September, and October soon.

We will present this series in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North (UUMAN) church at 11420 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075. UUMAN is located approximately 0.7 miles north of Holcomb Bridge Road. The UUMAN sanctuary has comfortable seating for 175 people with the capacity to easily add an additional 100 chairs if needed. This facility will allow us expand our seating capacity while maintaining the intimate feel of our concerts. The church has a nice covered patio area that will make the preconcert and mid concert breaks very pleasant. (Note that this is not a program of UUMAN, we are simply renting their facility for the evening of each concert.)
